Anton Søberg

Principal Engineer - Hardware/Firmware at Vicotee

Anton Søberg has extensive experience in developing low power hardware/firmware for IoT solutions. Anton worked as a Principal Engineer at Vicotee, where they were responsible for developing hardware/firmware for IoT solutions using various technologies. Anton implemented a BSP and a custom bootloader solution for a customer, including full driver support for peripherals.

Prior to that, Anton worked at Virinco as an R&D Engineer, where they developed low-power hardware for LoRaWAN 2.4GHz vibration monitoring. Anton designed schematics and layouts for the hardware.

Anton also worked at Jotron AS as an R&D Engineer, where they developed a LabVIEW based networked PAGA system and initiated the adoption of a new CAD tool for the R&D department. Anton worked on multiple hardware projects, including PAGA, Driller Talkback, and Intercom systems, designing layouts and schematics.

Anton started their career as a Consultant at the Norwegian Post and Telecommunications Authority.

Anton Søberg completed their Bachelor's degree in Space Systems Technology from Narvik University College (HiN) from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Anton has obtained several certifications in various programming languages and software development environments. These include certifications in Introduction to Embedded Systems Software and Development Environments from Coursera Course Certificates, An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python (Part 2), Introduction to HTML5, Introduction to Programming with MATLAB, An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python (Part 1), and Programming for Everybody (Python), all obtained through Coursera Verified Certificates.
