Megan Toose

Megan Toose has extensive experience in finance and commercial management. Megan is currently serving as the Chief Finance and Commercial Officer at VicReturn since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at SPL from May 2022 to March 2023.

Before their role at SPL, Megan held various positions at MessageMedia, starting in 2018. Megan was the Head of Finance from August 2020 to March 2022, where they were responsible for transforming the finance department and ensuring financial compliance. Megan also served as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis from September 2018 to August 2020, focused on providing board and executive information to support revenue growth.

Earlier in their career, Megan worked at Toll Global Express, Toll Domestic Forwarding, Toll Group IT, Toll Logistics, and in2store. Their roles include Commercial Manager, Commercial Analyst, and Regional Warehouse Manager. Megan has demonstrated skills in project management, budgeting, forecasting, and business unit reporting.

Megan Toose holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne, which they completed from 1989 to 1991. In 1990, they also obtained a Diploma of Tennis Coaching from the Tennis Coaches Association Victoria. Megan Toose completed the CPA Australia Program from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, they completed an Accreditation in CFO from AAIFM in 2022.
