Alan Chambers

Alan Chambers is an experienced professional with a comprehensive background in public service and management within the criminal justice and charitable sectors. Currently serving as Area Manager at Victim Support since July 2021, Alan leads initiatives in adult multicrime support and domestic abuse advocacy across the Thames Valley and Pan Sussex regions. Previous roles include Charity Manager at Hounds for Heroes and Operations & Development Manager at PACSO, where strategic operational leadership was a key focus. Alan's extensive police experience spans nearly three decades, with notable positions as Detective Chief Inspector at the Metropolitan Police and Sussex Police, overseeing major operations in victim care and child protection. Alan holds a BA (Hons) in History & Geography from the University of Chichester and a PGCE from Keele University.
