Marise Alphonso

Marise Alphonso is a Cyber Security GRC Specialist at VicTrack since January 2025, overseeing the cyber security Governance, Risk and Compliance functions. Prior to this role, Marise served as the Program Delivery and GRC Support Lead at AWSN, managing the Victorian Summer of Cyber program from November 2024 to January 2025. Marise's experience includes a position as a Senior Consultant in Advisory at Tesserent, where focus was on enhancing information security GRC capabilities across various sectors from September 2022 to August 2024. As the Information Security Lead at Infoxchange from September 2018 to August 2022, Marise developed and maintained an Information Security Management System aligned with ISO27001 standards. Earlier in career, Marise worked as an ITS Governance Officer at The Salvation Army Australia from May 2015 to August 2018, establishing information security and IT risk management capabilities. Marise holds an MBA in Business and Information Systems from the University of Southern Queensland and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering and Physics from Boston University.
