Ian Melling

Ian Melling has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Ian is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Victrex, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to joining Victrex, Ian worked at Smith+Nephew for a significant period. At Smith+Nephew, they held various roles including SVP Corporate Finance and R&D from October 2021 to June 2022, SVP Group Finance from August 2016 to October 2021, Interim Chief Financial Officer from April 2020 to July 2020, CFO Global Operations & IT from April 2014 to July 2016, VP Commercial Finance - Europe from April 2012 to March 2014, VP Finance - Biologics Division from January 2009 to March 2012, and worked in Internal Audit from April 2006 to December 2008. Before joining Smith+Nephew, Ian started their career at Deloitte UK in August 2001, where they worked in the Audit department until March 2006.

Ian Melling attended the University of Oxford from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Chemistry (MChem).
