Mark Springel

Mark Springel serves as a Senior Associate at Vida Ventures, LLC, where responsibilities include acting as a board observer for several biotech companies. Previous positions include senior business development fellow at Harvard University's Office of Technology Development, focusing on assessing intellectual property and market potential for life science technologies. Mark Springel completed a Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Harvard University, conducting research on spinal cord neural circuits in the David Ginty Lab and contributing to teaching in neurobiology. Additional leadership experience includes vice president of the GSAS Harvard Biotech Club and executive director of the Journal of Emerging Investigators, Inc. Mark Springel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with Highest Honors from Williams College.
