Romain Benassi

Romain Benassi received a Ph.D. from Centrale-Supélec, focusing on optimization and statistics, and graduated from IMT Atlantique with a specialization in signal processing. They have extensive experience as a data scientist, having worked at Homepulse and Ohm Energie, and are currently a consultant data scientist at Publicis Sapient Engineering, specializing in Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Bayesian methods. Since 2021, Romain has also taken on the role of teacher in Deep Learning and NLP. Prior to these roles, Romain contributed to research and development as a Ph.D. student and intern, including publishing a paper on algorithms for handling large covariance matrices.
