Ismaa'Eel van der Schaff

Ismaa'eel Van der Schaff is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, auditing, and technical accounting. Currently serving as Group Financial Controller at Videndum plc since March 2023, responsibilities include updating the Group’s accounting policy and providing IFRS technical support on complex issues. Prior to this role, Ismaa'eel managed external audit processes and enhanced internal controls at LeasePlan, and led audit teams for diverse clients at Deloitte UK. Earlier positions included financial management at ABSA Capital and auditing roles at Deloitte South Africa. Ismaa'eel holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cape Town.
