Robin Cornick

Director Defence Capability Development and Operational Support. at VideoRay

Robin Cornick has a wealth of experience in the military and defence industry. Robin began their career in 1979 as a MCD Officer in the Royal Navy. In 1996, they took on the role of Very Shallow Water Minecountermeasures for the US DoD PMS EOD, where they were responsible for delivering Subject Matter Expertise in the design and system definition of equipment to meet the requirements of diving in Very Shallow Water to conduct Mine Counter Measures in an hostile environment. In 1999, they became a Desk Officer for Minor Minewarfare Systems, Diving and Hydrography at MOD DEC UWB. In 2002, they took on the role of Requirements Manager at the UK MoD Defence Procurement Agency and Financial Programmer at the UK MoD DEC DSR, where they were responsible for the resource management of funding profiles to provide new military capability for the logistic support of Naval and Air equipments. In 2005, they became a Mine Warfare Programme Officer at the NATO Undersea Research Centre. In 2009, they joined the AUVSI as a Member of Board of Directors. In 2011, they became a Senior Programme Manager at SeeByte, where they were responsible for customer support, requirements definition and product integration, systems analysis, system engineering, knowledge capture, system safety, human factors and training, and support and policy documentation. In 2020, they joined VideoRay as the Director Defence Capability Development and Operational Support, where they are responsible for continuous dialogue with all current and future Military Law Enforcement and SAR customers to ensure their current Capability Requirements are being addressed and future requirements are encompassed by all aspects of VideoRay's technology development, as well as providing operational support above and beyond the standard goals provided by the VideoRay customer satisfaction team. Robin also serves as a Dedicated Military Support Analyst. In their spare time, they serve as a Soccer Dad for SMYO Soccer.

Robin Cornick's education history includes attending Hautlieu Grammer School from 1971 to 1978, Royal Naval College, Dartmouth from 1985 to 1986, Royal Navy Staff College Greenwich from 1993 to 1994, and Defence Acquisition University from 2010 to 2011. Robin also has experience with the London School of Economics and Royal Navy Engineering School, though the time frames for these experiences are unknown.
