John Proctor

John Proctor has over 30 years of sales and leadership experience in the broadcast, sports media, corporate, academic, house of worship, and media entertainment industry. John began their career as a Sales Representative at E. & J. Gallo Winery in 1991. John then transitioned into the media industry, working as a Tape Op and Vault Operator at 525 Post Production from 1993 to 1995. John later became a Flame Artist/Assistant at Skyview from 1995 to 1998.

In 1998, Proctor joined Discreet Logic/AutoDesk as a Product Specialist, a role they held until 2000 when they were promoted to Midwest Regional Sales Manager. John then moved on to Roscor Corporation, where they served as a Sales Manager for Video and Audio solutions from 2002 to 2006. During their time at Roscor, they also held the position of Sports Venue Specialist, winning several large venue projects.

Proctor joined Avid Technology in 2011 as a Territory Account Manager for the Midwest region, responsible for developing business and sales in various verticals. Their responsibilities later expanded to include managing the Midwest and Southwest regions as Territory Account Manager until 2018.

From 2018 until 2024, Proctor worked for Arvato Systems North America as a Sales Manager for Broadcast Solutions in the US and Canada. John gained extensive experience in the industry and developed a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for client needs.

Currently, Proctor is the Director of Sales North America at Vidispine - an Arvato Systems brand. John continues to use their skills and experience to drive sales and oversee operations in the North American region. Additionally, they serve as the Hockey Director/Coach for the Lyons Township High School Hockey Club since 2020.

John Proctor attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1986 to 1990, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
