Karla Romo

Karla Romo is a dedicated and versatile student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Legal Studies and Sociology. Currently serving as a College Experience Expert at VIDSIG since June 2023, Karla engages with prospective students about life at UC Berkeley. In addition, Karla has gained experience as an intern at KPB Immigration Law Firm PC, where translation and case management support are key responsibilities. Active in the Latinx Pre Law Society, Karla is involved in workshops to develop legal skills. Upcoming roles include a Science & Technology Policy Research Intern at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies and a Prospect Research and Stewardship Intern at Global Refuge. Previous experience spans leadership and operational roles in organizations such as Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc. and various customer service positions, showcasing a strong foundation in communication and organizational skills.
