Abhishek Dixit

Abhishek Dixit has extensive work experience in process engineering, specifically in the areas of thin film, lasers, glass, and insulated glass units (IGUs). Abhishek has held multiple senior positions at View, Inc., starting as a Laser Process Engineer in 2011 and progressing to roles such as Senior Technology Engineer, Yield Manager, Sr. Manager Yield, and Director Process Engineering. Currently, they are serving as the Sr. Director Process Engineering, overseeing the development and implementation of processes related to thin film, lasers, glass, and IGU.

Before joining View, Inc., Abhishek worked as a Laser Applications Engineer at the National Centre of laser application in 2007-2008. Abhishek was responsible for applying laser technology in various applications.

Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at the University of the West of England Bristol. In this role, they conducted research on surface oxide removal using lasers for diffusion bonding of aluminum, titanium, and their alloys. Abhishek also contributed to the Laser Induced Super plastic forming (LISTECH) project and played a key role in designing and developing custom high-pressure and temperature diffusion bonding tools.

Abhishek Dixit pursued their education in a chronological manner. Abhishek began their academic journey in 1996 by attending Nagpur University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Production Engineering in the year 2000. After completing their undergraduate studies, Abhishek pursued a master's degree in Technology Management-Engineering at the University of the West of England, which they successfully completed from 2003 to 2004. Building upon their master's degree, they then proceeded to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Laser-induced thin film removal from the surface of aerospace alloys at the same university from 2007 to 2010.
