Astrid Crivello

Astrid Crivello started their work experience as a Help Desk Representative at Convergys in 2011, where they provided troubleshooting support for cable television, internet, and telephone services. Astrid also assisted with billing inquiries and helped customers with various technical issues.

In 2012, Astrid joined the USS Dwight D Eisenhower as an Interior Communications Electrician. In this role, they supervised and trained a team of 30 sailors in electrical and telecommunications systems. Astrid was responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment worth over $100,000, including fiber optic amplifiers and TV distribution equipment. Astrid effectively managed support requests from a crew of around 4,500 during deployments and shipyard periods.

From 2016 to 2016, Astrid worked as a Program Administrator at IMF through TeamPeople.

In 2017, Astrid joined View, Inc as a Field Service Engineer. Astrid started as a Field Service Engineer and later became a Lead Field Service Engineer in 2018.

Most recently, in 2021, Astrid joined DEAFLEAD as a Crisis Counselor.

Astrid Crivello began their education journey in 2002 by attending Stanly Community College (SCC) for a year and studying computer engineering. Afterward, they pursued a degree in computer science at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree, which they completed in 2019. Following their interest in psychology, Astrid continued their education at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology in 2021.
