Daniel Tai

Daniel Tai has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Daniel started their career in 2005 at Mentor Graphics as a Software Engineer, where they developed ICanalyst, a verification UI cockpit for simulations. Daniel then joined Orb Networks in 2011, working as a Software Engineer and focusing on developing Orb software products for various platforms. In 2013, they joined Qualcomm as an Engineer and Staff/Manager, leading a team in the design and development of mobile applications and SDKs. In 2017, Daniel joined View, Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer for mobile, and gradually progressed to roles such as Software Engineering Manager, Senior Software Engineering Manager, and currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering.

Daniel Tai attended UC Santa Barbara from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
