Billy Choi has a diverse work experience across various industries. Billy started their career at Optus as a Sales Associate, where they handled telecommunications sales, customer support, and billing.

Afterward, they founded a contemporary streetwear brand called "bbb" and gained experience in various roles, including manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce, graphic design, photography, copywriting, and digital marketing.

Billy then worked at PHD as an Activation Assistant, where they handled programmatic, search, and social activity for clients such as HP Australia, Fitness First, and ANZ Wealth. Billy also worked as an SEM Account Assistant, responsible for search engine marketing for clients such as HP Australia, ANZ, and Pepsico Gatorade.

Billy then joined Havas Media Group as a Digital Trader, managing activations and programmatic strategy for clients such as KIA Motors Australia, Emirates Airlines, and Kitchen Aid Australia & New Zealand. Billy also became the resident digital/programmatic evangelist for the Havas Programmatic Hub.

Billy also worked at DMSS Design as a Graphic Designer, Photographer, and Videographer, handling branding, social content, and creating commercial videos. Currently, they are the Global Digital Campaign Manager at ViewSonic, leading and building the Global Paid Media Team to manage campaigns worldwide.

In addition to their professional experience, Billy was involved in Retrochro.me, an e-commerce store focused on analogue photography, where they handled various responsibilities such as digital marketing, partnerships, customer relations, design, and logistics.

Billy Choi completed their Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at UNSW from 2015 to 2018. In 2016 to 2019, they also obtained a TOCFL - Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language at Chinese Culture University, specializing in Chinese Language and Literature. Additionally, in 2017, Billy briefly attended McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with a focus on Marketing.
