Patricia Lu has a diverse background in public relations and marketing, with experience in various industries and roles. Beginning in 2011, they worked as a Consumer Analyst at Vivaki Pool Tablet Research. In 2012, they became a Product Strategist for the World Kitchen Product Development Project. Patricia then joined the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce in 2013 as a Marketing and Events Associate. In the same year, they started working at Elite PR Group as an Account Supervisor, where they managed global accounts and executed communication strategies for major events and trade shows. In 2016, Patricia joined Cheetah Mobile as a Deputy PR Manager, later transitioning to the roles of PR & Communications Manager and PR & Marketing Manager in the Global Marketing and Blockchain Departments, respectively. During their time at Cheetah Mobile, they led global branding campaigns, managed product launch communications, and implemented integrated communication strategies. In 2019, they moved to iKala, where they first served as a Public Relations Manager and eventually became the Senior Public Relations and Partnerships Manager. Currently, Patricia is working at ViewSonic as part of their PR and Corporate Communications team.

Patricia Lu pursued their education starting in 2006 when they enrolled at National Taipei University. Patricia completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Foreign languages and applied linguistics in 2010. Later, in 2011, they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Advertising, which they completed in 2012.
