ViField is a Portugal-based robotics company developing autonomous field robots that enable continuous, close-range monitoring of large outdoor areas across agriculture and perimeter security through a single scalable robotic platform.

Its first product, ORIOOS, is a fully electric, modular, and autonomous robot designed to operate seamlessly across two high-value markets: agriculture and perimeter security. ORIOOS replaces manual, intermittent, and labor-intensive monitoring with a continuous, autonomous, and scalable process.

In agriculture, ORIOOS provides close-range, plant-level monitoring of permanent crops such as orchards and vineyards, enabling fruit counting, early disease detection, yield estimation, and anomaly detection. In parallel, using the same hardware platform, ORIOOS performs autonomous perimeter surveillance supporting 24/7 detection of intrusions and operational anomalies.
ViField was created as a spin-off from INESC TEC, one of Europe's leading research institutions, and builds on more than a decade of expertise in agricultural robotics and autonomous systems developed at the TRIBE Laboratory.
