Soonmin Ko

Soonmin Ko is the Co-Founder and CIO of ViFiVE Inc., a position they have held since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor at Glow Recipe starting in November 2014. From July 2016 to July 2020, they served as the VP and Head of the New York Office at Moloco. Before that, they were a Vice President at LibreMax Capital, LLC from February 2014 to July 2016. Soonmin began their career at Goldman Sachs as an Associate from July 2011 to February 2014. Additionally, they had summer roles at Societe Generale, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, and NCsoft in 2010, 2009, 2005, and 2002 respectively. Soonmin'searliest work experience was as a Database Administrator at Freechal from August 2001 to July 2002.

Soonmin Ko completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Economics from Seoul National University from 1998 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they pursued a Ph.D. in Operations Research at Columbia University.
