Andrew Walker has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Andrew began their career as a Trainee Clinical Engineer at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2008. In 2011, they moved to Airedale International Air Conditioning Ltd, where they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer, specializing in the development of Airedale's precision air conditioning product lines. Andrew also led the evolution of Airedale's high volume precision air conditioning product, the EasiCool, and contributed to the design and development of Airedale's premium SmartCool product. In 2016, Andrew moved to Vertiv, where they held two roles: Key Account Manager for Northern Europe and Sales Manager for Middle East & Africa - Thermal Management. In 2019, they joined Vigilent as an Account Director, where they work to reduce operating costs, unlock stranded capacity, and increase reliability in hundreds of data center and telecom facilities worldwide.
Andrew Walker began their educational career at Ashville College, where they completed A-levels and GCSEs from 1996 to 2004. Andrew then attended the University of Hull, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from 2004 to 2007, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Engineering from 2007 to 2008. Lastly, they attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Engineering from 2008 to 2011.
