Sam Sehgal, CISSP, is a seasoned leader in software security, currently serving as Director and Distinguished Engineer at Dell since January 2019. In this role, Sam is responsible for the comprehensive technical strategy for software security, focusing on the secure development lifecycle and orchestrating security programs across Dell teams. Additionally, Sam contributes as an Advisory Board Member at VigiTrust and co-chairs the DevSecOps Working Group at the Cloud Security Alliance, providing expertise in key areas such as SDL, DevSecOps, and AI/ML security. With a rich background including positions at LinkedIn, Expedia Group, Cognizant, Qualcomm, and Infineon Technologies, Sam combines strong technical acumen with a Master's degree in Business Administration from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications and Software Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
