Vigor is a decentralized financial Protocol that facilitates crypto lending and borrowing on the EOS blockchain.

The Vigor project's Protocol is built around two tokens, VIGOR and VIG.

The project is organized as a DAC a (Decentralized Autonomous Community).

The DAC is comprised of the top 21 candidates for custodianship. These top voted 21 from over 100+ candidates for Custodianship oversee the Vigor protocols development, performance and maintenance. 

The protocol is open sourced, decentralized, and without owners being managed by the daily elected custodian candidates. 

Any VIG holder staking VIG in a certain amount may become a candidate for Custodial election. 

The VIGOR token is a low volatility payment token (LVPT) which is fundamentally concerned with jump-to-zero price and volatility risk. 

The Vigor protocol enables the separation and transfer of those risks. 

VIGOR tokens are generated on the Protocol platform and are backed by cryptocurrencies on the EOS blockchain.

The second token is VIG. It is a utility token designed to balance and manage the solvency risks in the Vigor protocol. 

VIG is used to pay premiums and receive rewards within the protocol.

The Vigor platform enables users to among other uses.

Borrow VIGOR against EOS native tokens and to borrow EOS native tokens against VIGOR as collateral.

The Vigor DAC sponsored the formation of a company limited by guaranty in Singapore to represent the DAC in the “real” world since DACs are not currently recognized legal entities.
