Ty Shipman

Ty Shipman is currently a Senior Security Consultant at VikingCloud, where they lead PCI DSS assessments and advise clients on various cybersecurity topics. With over 30 years of experience in card processing and software development, Ty also serves as a Lieutenant (Volunteer) for the Kern County Search and Rescue Dive Team, responsible for training and operational support. Previously, Ty held leadership roles in IT and compliance at LoopPay and Samsung Pay Labs, among others. Alongside professional pursuits, Ty is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Berkeley.
