Peter Madlener

Peter Madlener has a range of experience in various roles and industries. Peter co-founded VIKTOR in 2017, where they served as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In this role, they focused on automating tasks and facilitating collaboration through the development of web-apps. Prior to VIKTOR, Peter co-founded CODURE in 2015, serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). CODURE specialized in providing fitting systems for pressurized Cured-in-Place pipes. Peter's expertise in software engineering and big data led to the merger of MOCS, another company they co-founded, with VIKTOR in 2012. Peter also co-founded FWD Composite Structures in 2013, where they served as the CTO. FWD focused on the development of fiber-reinforced plastic bridges using advanced software and optimization techniques. Before entering the industry, Peter worked as a researcher at Delft University of Technology, focusing on the analysis and connection design for composite maritime structures.

Peter Madlener has a diverse education history that spans over several years. Peter'seducational journey began in 2001 when they attended the Nederlands Instituut voor Lastechniek (NIL). During their time there, they obtained certifications in Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding at level 2 and Metal Inert Gas and Metal Active Gas (MIG/MAG) welding at level 2. In the same year, they also pursued vocational education level 2 in Construction fitter/welder from ROC Rivor.

From 2002 to 2005, Madlener continued their education at ROC Rivor, where they completed vocational education level 4 in Mechanical Engineering. This provided him with a solid foundation in the field. In 2005, Madlener further enhanced their academic qualifications by enrolling at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht), where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering. This program lasted for three years and further sharpened their knowledge and skills in the subject.

To complement their bachelor's degree, Madlener pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Maritime Technology Ship and Offshore Structures from Delft University of Technology. Peter attended this prestigious institution between 2008 and 2012, dedicating four years to in-depth study of maritime technology, ship design, and offshore structures.
