Vilnius International School was founded in 2004 by three families Leitzinger, Juras and Gravesen Jensen from Finland, USA/Lithuania and Denmark. Each of us sought an educational experience for our children different from that available in Vilnius. We envisioned a school that reflected the values of a democratic and multicultural society, while paying homage to Lithuanian culture and tradition.  
 
We have since created a warm learning environment where all members of the VIS school community feel welcome and respected. On behalf of Vilnius International School, we would like to invite you and your child to visit our school and become part of our vision.
