Johnny Hu

Johnny Hu serves as a Board Member for Vilya since November 2024 and holds the position of Principal at Menlo Ventures starting August 2021. Previous roles include Board Observer at Endeavor Biomedicines and LEXEO Therapeutics, as well as Vice President at Longitude Capital from October 2019 to July 2021. Earlier in the career, Johnny Hu was an Associate at Omega Funds and a Fellow at Vida Ventures, LLC. Leadership experience includes serving as President of The Biotech Connection at Boston. Educational qualifications comprise a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University, an MPhil in Biological Sciences from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemical and Physical Biology with an Economics Secondary from Harvard University.
