Michael Zhao

Michael Zhao has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. In 2008, they were a Neuroscience Research Intern (Lipton Lab) at the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute. In 2012, they were a Financial Analyst at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. In 2013, they were an Investment Banking Analyst at Vista Point Advisors. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Product Manager and Associate Product Manager at Kabam. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Product Manager at Microsoft. Since 2018, they have been a Co-Founder at Vimcal (YC S18).

Michael Zhao attended Y Combinator in 2018 as part of the S18 Batch. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Computer Science & Environmental Economics.
