Romy Graske

Romy Graske has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Romy is currently working at Vimcar as a Syndikusrechtsanwältin (Senior Legal Counsel) since May 2022, and previously held the position of Syndikusrechtsanwältin (Legal Counsel) from November 2020. Before joining Vimcar, Romy worked at Kanzlei für Künstler as a Rechtsanwältin für Künstler & Specialized Lawyer for Global Mobility Services (under German Law) since September 2020. In this role, they provided legal consultation to artists, expats, freelancers, and small and medium-sized businesses in various areas including global mobility services, tax planning, cross-border activities, and more. Romy also runs a legal blog on these topics. Prior to their current roles, they worked as a Sängerin und Sprecherin (singer and speaker) under the name "Frau Rechtsanwältin" since October 2017, where they performed and created Vlogs on legal and artistic subjects. Romy founded their own law firm, Graske Rechtsanwälte, where they worked as a Rechtsanwältin from October 2017 until September 2020. Romy also gained experience at CMS Law Tax, Mazars Germany, Kammergericht, BBL Bernsau Brockdorff Insolvenz- und Zwangsverwalter GbR, KPMG, and Universität Regensburg through various roles. Overall, Romy's work experience spans legal counseling, voice-over work, founding their own firm, and gaining experience in different legal organizations and roles.

Romy Graske attended the University of Regensburg from 2008 to 2011, where they studied Rechtswissenschaft (Law). Romy did not obtain a degree during this period. From 2011 to 2013, they continued their education at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, specializing in Rechtswissenschaft. Romy successfully completed the 1. juristische Prüfung (First Legal Examination) during this time.
