Erik Herz

Erik Herz is a video builder and inventor currently serving as the Director of Solution Architecture at Vimeo. With a background that includes roles such as VP of Business Development at RAMP Holdings, Inc., Erik innovated live webcasting products and services and created "HLS Multicast" video delivery. They also founded the Internet Cafe, where they built PCs and established a web presence in the mid-90s. Erik's previous experience includes leadership positions at companies such as MediaPlatform, VBrick Systems, and Webcast in a Box, alongside a solid educational foundation with a B.A. in History from Humboldt State University and graduate studies at Stony Brook University.
