Sumit Ohri

Sumit Ohri is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in leading security initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at GetInsured since 2020, Sumit Ohri focuses on establishing corporate IT strategies, security management, and compliance programs for a SaaS platform supporting health exchanges under the Affordable Care Act. Previously, as Principal at DoyenGC-ApON, Sumit Ohri designed security frameworks to help businesses adhere to regulatory requirements. Sumit Ohri also held the role of Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Information Officer at HealthSource RI from 2013 to 2020, where responsibilities included developing IT strategies and overseeing a $300 million healthcare exchange platform. Additional experience includes consulting roles at Dell Force 10 Networks, Metropolitan Transportation Commission, Sony Computer Entertainment America, and Verizon. Sumit Ohri holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
