Khien Pham

Khien Pham is an experienced AI Scientist at Vingroup Big Data Institute since October 2018, specializing in AI solution architecture involving face surveillance, vehicle detection, and autopilot technologies. Prior to this role, Khien served as Team Leader of the AI Team at Viettel Research and Development Institute, overseeing projects like AI for face and human surveillance systems, and leading the development of algorithms for age, gender, and emotion estimation. Khien also held positions as a Senior AI Engineer focused on image processing and as a Research Assistant at Chonnam National University, contributing to projects in machine learning and computer vision. Professional experience includes software engineering at Samsung Electronics Vietnam, where work involved image processing applications. Khien holds a Master's degree in Image Processing and Machine Learning from Chonnam National University and a Bachelor's degree from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
