We advise clients even before a matter becomes a dispute, forming pre-emptive strategies where necessary. We also consider whether alternative dispute resolution could achieve better and faster results. In litigation or arbitration, our strategies combine robust drafting and effective advocacy for a swift resolution.

Contested trust and inheritance matters which includes trusteeship disputes, beneficiary contests, contested probate and wills, challenges on executorship, administration or distribution, inheritance disputes, succession roadblocks and private client matters. We have cross-border experience in probate and administration matters. We regularly act for stakeholders on all sides of the divide: trust corporations, trustee boards, executors, administrators and beneficiaries.  

Commercial and corporate disputes which includes directorship stalemates, boardroom tussles and shareholder actions. These include disputes experience in minority oppression and derivative actions, with the obtaining of declarations and injunctive relief. 

Construction dispute resolution with specialty in high-value projects and large infrastructures. This includes leading forensic document reviews and rendering advice on construction contract claims. We are able to act for all stakeholders in a construction dispute; whether domestic or international. We also have extensive expertise in arbitration, adjudication and court proceedings.
