Located on four scenic acres in suburban Port Washington, the Vincent Smith School is a private, independent day school that has served students from Nassau, Suffolk, and New York City since 1924.  The School is known for its individualized programs for students in grades 1-12 with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Auditory Processing Disorders, and Language (Expressive/Receptive) Processing Disorders. On-site services include Speech, OT, Reading, Counseling. Emphasis is placed on differentiated instruction and organizational skills in small supportive classes that average 5 students per class.
