Sami Sorell

Sami Sorell has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Sami started their career as a Network Administrator at Teleste in 2002 before becoming a Software Developer and Senior Designer in a large scale scrum driven project. At Teleste, they designed Linux device drivers and customized third-party software components. In 2009, they joined Cybercom Group as a Software Developer, where they gained experience in Android, Java, Python, and NoSQL databases. In 2015, they became the first full-time employee at Noccela, a start-up company, where they worked as a Senior Software Developer. Sami designed low-power indoor positioned devices and gained knowledge in C#, Windows services, and MS SQL databases. In 2019, Sami joined Nextfour Group as a Senior Software Engineer and then moved to Vincit in 2020, where they currently hold the position of Senior Software Engineer.

Sami Sorell attended the Turku University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Data Communications. Additionally, in January 2003, they received the CCNP certification from Cisco Systems.
