Simo Savonen

Simo Savonen has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Simo is currently working as a Software Developer at Vincit since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Office Administrative Assistant at Kaarinan kaupunki - City of Kaarina from June 2021 to February 2022. Simo also had a role as a Full Stack trainee at Turun yliopisto - University of Turku from March 2019 to August 2019. Additionally, they served as an IT Consultant at Turun Seudun Asuntosepät Oy from May 2017 to April 2018, where they successfully modernized the billing system and improved the company's web presence. Simo has also gained entrepreneurial experience as they built and operated an online store called Wintermute Web Solutions from November 2002 to August 2005. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Staff at Akateeminen Kirjakauppa from August 1998 to May 2003.

Simo Savonen's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology from the Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they attained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the same university, from 2006 to 2012. Simo also briefly studied Economics at the Estonian Business School in 1996 to 1997, although it is unclear if they received a degree in that field.

In addition to their formal education, Simo has obtained additional certifications. In September 2022, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, in April 2019, they completed the Full Stack Open 2019 - Deep Dive Into Modern Web Development program, offered by the University of Helsinki.
