Andy Smith

Andy Smith has over 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Andy started their career at Texas Instruments as a Senior Design Engineer, where they worked on designing and validating custom NMOS and CMOS ICs. After four years, they joined NXP Semiconductors and held various roles such as Field Application Manager, Systems Applications Manager, Marketing & System Applications Director, Business Development Director, and European Support Director. During their time at NXP Semiconductors, they provided technical support to customers, supported sales activities, facilitated business development, managed teams, and ensured customer satisfaction. In 2011, Andy joined ZMDI as a Product Marketing Manager and was responsible for the Power and LED Driver product lines. Andy developed product strategies, managed profits, defined roadmaps, and launched multiple products in the market. Currently, Andy is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Vincotech, where they continue to contribute their expertise in product marketing.

Andy Smith graduated from The University of Sheffield in 1981 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
