Dr. Alias Jacob has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Dr. Alias is currently the Founder and Chairman of Vineyard Education, where they established and oversees the SEAL virtual college, providing affordable education globally.

Prior to this, they founded Vineyard Holding in 2002 and served as the Founding Chairman and Group CEO. Dr. Alias managed the company's sectors in Business Transformation, Sustainability, Education, Real Estate, Healthcare, Agriculture, and Investments.

Before Vineyard Holding, Dr. Alias Jacob worked at Etisalat, where they held multiple positions. Dr. Alias served as the Managing Director of Ebtikar Card Systems, successfully turning around its profitability. Dr. Alias also served as the Director of Finance and Business Development for Zantel, leading the company's expansion into over 20 nations and establishing Etisalat in East Africa. Additionally, they played various roles in the "UAE Nationals Training" program, training and developing leadership qualities in over 1000 employees.

Dr. Alias Jacob completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Loyola College in 1976. Dr. Alias then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, General from the School of Management Studies Cochin, which they completed in 1978. In 2009, Dr. Jacob received an honorary Doctor of Theology degree from the United Graduate College and Seminary in the USA.
