Fernando Piveta

Fernando Piveta is a skilled engineer with a diverse background in product development and fastener engineering within the automotive industry. Currently serving as the Fastener Lead Engineer at VINFAST since July 2023, Fernando previously worked at EDAG Group as a product development engineer focused on interior designs for Ford do Brasil. Prior experience includes a role at Forvia as a Development Engineer for Jeep and Fiat vehicles, overseeing various development stages of interior components. At General Motors, Fernando held multiple engineering positions, including roles in the Tire and Wheel System and as a Fastener Engineer, where problem-solving and cost reduction were key responsibilities. Fernando began in the industry at Sinto Brasil as an intern responsible for maintenance administration. Educational qualifications include degrees in Project Management from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and Mechatronic Engineering from Universidade Bandeirante de São Paulo, along with technical training from Senai São Paulo.
