Gareth Brown

Gareth Brown is a Powertrain Technical Manager at McLaren Automotive Ltd, where they are responsible for the current series McLaren propulsion systems, including internal combustion engines and electric drive technology. With extensive experience in vehicle and engine launches, Gareth previously held roles in Quality Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering at McLaren Automotive, contributing to significant projects such as the MP4-12C and the Mercedes SLR McLaren. They also have experience in Engineering Project Management at BMW and Powertrain Project Management at Ford Motor Company, ensuring successful vehicle launches. Gareth holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Automotive Engineering from Oxford Brookes University.
