Mirella Dan

Mirella Dan, P.Eng., is currently the Functional Safety Director at Vinfast, where they develop and manage comprehensive safety strategies across automotive programs. With a robust background in systems engineering, Mirella has held significant roles at General Motors and BAE Systems, focusing on functional safety, quality assurance, and embedded controls in electrification and powertrain technologies. Mirella earned a Master's Degree in Measurement Instrumentation and Devices from Southbank University and another in Electrical Power Engineering from the Technical University of Bucharest, along with ongoing studies at the University of Michigan in Energy Systems Engineering. Prior to their leadership positions, Mirella contributed to various engineering projects at companies including Ford Motor Company and MDA.
