Göran Marklund is the Head of Strategic Intelligence and Deputy Director General at VINNOVA, the Swedish Innovation Agency, where they have been instrumental in operational development since 2010. They previously served as an Associate Professor in Economic History at Uppsala University from 2009 to 2012 and as a Science and Technology Attaché at the Swedish Embassy in Washington, DC in 2005-2006. Göran holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Uppsala University, which they completed between 1983 and 1994.
