Cody Caughlan

Co-founder / CTO at Vinosmith

Cody Caughlan began their career in 2004 as an Engineer at Jabico Enterprises, where they worked with ASP (pre .NET), ColdFusion, PHP, MySQL, SQL Server, and Javascript. In 2006, they joined Ooga Labs as an Engineer, where they deployed a range of projects, mostly Rails based. Cody built a medical encyclopedia and social networking app, and designed and implemented the search layer using Apache Solr. In 2010, they became an Engineer at Batch.com, where they architected and implemented the complete back-end stack and built both the Dailybooth and Batch Android apps. Cody also worked at PlacePop as an Engineer, where they built the initial Android application and worked on the back-end. In 2012, they co-founded Vinosmith, a cloud-based platform for Wineries and Distributors to manage their sales information, and in 2015 they co-founded Stellashare, a private, invite-only sharing service.

Cody Caughlan received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2002. Cody also attended Life College.
