Glen Bertini

Glen Bertini has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the innovation and utility industry. Glen currently works as an Innovation Manager at Violett since July 2022. Prior to this, Glen served as the Innovation Leader at Novinium, Inc. from January 2003 to March 2022, and also held the position of President & CEO at Novinium, Inc. from January 2003 to November 2019. Before joining Novinium, Inc., Glen was the Senior VP at UtilX Corporation from September 1991 to December 2002.

Glen Bertini holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 1980, they became a Senior Member of the AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers), and in 1985, they obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the State of Michigan. In 2009, they were recognized as an IEEE Fellow by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). Most recently, in December 2021, they became a member of the American Physical Society (APS Physics) as an APS Member in Plasma Physics.
