David Jiang has a diverse work experience, starting from 1999 at Sun Microsystems where they led the account team for large enterprise customers, consistently exceeding quota. David then joined VMware in 2007, first as a Sr. Channel System Engineer, leading the technical support team for various partners and winning the VMware President's Club award. Later, they became a Sr. System Engineer, leading the technical sales team for State Local and Education customers and consistently exceeding quota. In 2013, they joined EMC as a Principal Corporate System Engineer, leading the go-to-market engineering effort for a new virtual storage appliance and successfully launching the product. Currently, they work at Violin Memory as a Consulting System Engineer, where they are a subject matter expert on Virtualization and Storage, running Proof of Concept, presentations, and providing consulting and training in various technical areas.
David Jiang has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in VCP3 and VCP5 from VMware.
