Oliver Solano

Oliver Solano has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Oliver started their career as a Customer Service Representative at Au Bon Pain in 2004 and later worked as a Stock Associate at J.Crew. In 2008, they served as an Engineer Intern at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Oliver also worked as a Website Developer/Administrator at Shop Wabi Sabi from 2009 to 2010.

Oliver then transitioned to the field of software development, starting as an Analyst at Markov Processes International (MPI) in 2010. At MPI, they held various roles including Senior Analyst, Software Developer, and Director of Product Development. Oliver was responsible for product management, development, and design, as well as providing client support and creating custom reports.

In 2015, Oliver founded HealthWe, LLC where they served as a Founder and iOS Developer for HeartBP, an app focused on managing high blood pressure through healthy habits. Oliver was involved in website design, development, user recruitment, UX design, and market research.

Oliver also worked independently as an iOS Developer, creating a fitness app called 100 Pushups Trainer. Oliver developed and designed the application from concept to release, focusing on creating a simple and usable interface.

In 2016, Oliver worked as a Full-Stack Mobile Developer at Dats2 before joining Viome in 2017. At Viome, they initially served as a Full Stack Engineer before being promoted to Fullstack Lead Engineer and then Director of Software Engineering in July 2020.

Throughout their career, Oliver has demonstrated expertise in software development, product management, and team leadership.

Oliver Solano completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University from 2005 to 2009. Oliver also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007. In 2013, Oliver attended General Assembly, where they studied User Experience Design.
