Dorretta Harrell has been a dedicated educator with VIPKid since February 2017, serving as both an Online ESL Teacher and Academic Tutor, creating international learning experiences in a sophisticated virtual classroom while building meaningful relationships with children across cultural boundaries. Since April 2025, Dorretta has also worked as an Energy/Commodity Broker for a private oil commodity brokerage. Dorretta is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at Nova Southeastern University, maintaining a GPA of 3.56 and has completed 48 credits, reaching the All But the Dissertation (ABD) status.
