James Ripper

James Ripper is an experienced professional with a diverse background in service management, financial coaching, and education. Currently serving as the Franchise Owner of Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change since December 2020, Ripper also works as a Financial Coach at Jim Ripper Financial Coaching and an English as a Second Language Instructor at VIPKid, both roles beginning in March 2020 and December 2019, respectively. Prior experience includes serving as a Census Field Manager for the U.S. Census Bureau from January 2020 to November 2020 and holding various positions, including Software Engineer, Customer Support Manager, and Program Manager at BAE Systems from May 1986 to February 2019. Ripper holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Westminster College (PA). Ripper graduated from Beaver Area High School in 1979.
