Steven Murphy

Steven Murphy has extensive experience in executive leadership roles. Steven served as the Executive Chairman and CEO of VIPRE Security starting in 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of CEO and Board Member or Advisor for various Private Equity Sponsored Companies since 2008. Steven was the CEO of Metalogix Software from 2010 to 2016, leading the company through significant growth and acquisitions. Before that, they served as the CEO of Softek from 1999 to 2007, and CEO of Fujitsu Software and its predecessor Amdahl Software from 1999 to 2004. Steven also had a role as the CEO of Softek and Vice President of IBM Data Mobility Services Group during the transfer/trade process between the two companies.

Steven Murphy attended Mount Saint Mary's University from 1975 to 1979, where they earned a BS degree in Accounting and Finance.
