Daniel Formolo has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering and technology industry. In 2000, they began their career as an Intern at Altus Sistemas de Automação International, working in the areas of petrochemical industry and industrial plants. In 2002, they moved to Faurgs- TI as a Backend and Embedded Software Developer, developing embedded software solutions for the petrochemical industry, industrial plants, and electrical communication protocols. In 2003, they joined Getnet - Brasil as a Software Analyst and Embedded Software Engineer, designing and implementing modular software POS (electronic transactions) and solutions to embedded software and firmware update in field, safe transactions, GPRS, thermal printer, etc. In 2008, they became a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Softsul, acting as a technical leader, consultant, and software engineer. Daniel also served as a Scrum Master. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Professor at Unisinos. In 2019, they joined Philips as a Software Engineer Consulting, recommending technical solutions involving data processing to medical machines, presenting technical solutions in Linux and Windows OS, and conducting software analysis, performance evaluation, and experiments. In 2020, they moved to Connecterra as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Alfen and the Chief Technology Officer at Viqal.
