James Orme

James Orme is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Head of VAT at Virgin Media O2 since June 2021, after holding the position of Senior VAT Manager at O2 from March 2018 to June 2021. Prior to O2, James worked as an Indirect Tax Manager at PwC from September 2012 to February 2018 and briefly served as an Investment Analyst at Murano Connect. James is also recognized for an athletic career as a member of the British Olympic Rowing Team for six years, competing in four World Championships and numerous international events until retiring due to a back injury. Educational qualifications include becoming an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) through ICAEW between 2012 and 2015 and earning a degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge from 2002 to 2005, following studies at Tonbridge School from 1997 to 2002.
