D. Evan van Hook

D. Evan van Hook is a seasoned professional in sustainability and environmental law, currently serving as Chief Sustainability Officer at Viridi since September 2023. Van Hook previously held the same title at Honeywell from January 2004 to September 2023, demonstrating a long-term commitment to sustainable practices in corporate settings. In addition to extensive corporate experience, van Hook contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor of International Environmental Law at Columbia Law School from September 2005 to June 2015. Prior roles include Assistant Commissioner at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Partner and Associate in Environmental Law at Sidley Austin LLP, and Judicial Law Clerk for Hon. Robert W. Sweet. D. Evan van Hook earned a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School in May 1993.
